Mission Statement

The Rescue Global mission is twofold:

1. Rescue Global deploys expert Disaster Response Agents to disaster sites worldwide in up to 18 hours from an approved time of call. Operating a world class disaster response service, focusing on the first 72 hours of a natural or man made disaster, Rescue Global provides:

• Rescue Global Pathfinder team, to conduct initial reconnaissance, mapping and risk assessment of the disaster sites, identify access and egress routes and landing areas for local and international agencies who respond to the disaster
• Initial on site Command, Control, Communications and Intelligence functions for local and international agencies, supported by the Rescue Global international command and control centres based around the world
• Initial Search and Rescue capability for limited life saving operations which can not wait for the sustained rescue efforts which will follow

2. Rescue Global provides a horizon scanning and information sharing platform prior to, during and in the aftermath of disasters. Rescue Global creates an environment in which practitioners, academics, government,industry, media, NGO’s and the military, can come together with the shared aim of Disaster – Analysis, Prevention, Preparation, Training, Detection and Response.
