Rescue Global Strategic Leadership – 3CI Group – Command, Control, Communications, Intelligence – Located remote from the deployment area at one of the Rescue Global HQ

Rescue Global Gold Command takes up immediate residence in one of our pre-planned locations and provides overall strategic leadership to the Rescue Global response, for the duration of the mission.

Roles and responsibilities of Rescue Global Gold Command, include:

• Establish the Gold (strategic) Command centre for the mission. Gold Command will remain in place throughout the entire duration of the deployment. All communications, news feeds, intelligence, resource allocation and liaisons will come through and go out from, Gold Command
• Activate Rescue Global Pathfinder Group Team members by pager, request their call out status and confirm team configuration for deployment
• Liaise with host nation where team will deploy to, and any territories through which the team may pass, to ensure smooth transit, visa’s, landing permissions and so forth
• Manage the intelligence cycle – Collection, Collation, Analysis and Dissemination. Receiving information from a variety of sources and extracting risk critical data for the Team
• Conduct initial risk assessment of every stage of the proposed mission from time of call, to arrival of Pathfinder Group at the disaster area
• Brief the Pathfinder Group on the agreed mission parameter, risk factors and control measures
• Assign a Silver Command Team Leader, whom will be based close to, yet remote from the disaster site, to coordinate the efforts of Pathfinder Group in the region they deploy to, and act as a filter for information to and from Pathfinder Group and Gold Command
• Provide leadership, guidance, support and information to Silver Command throughout the mission
• Provide all resource allocation and logistics throughout the mission
• Approve and send out regular situational reports to the families of deployed Rescue Global Agents, and Press Statements regarding the Rescue Global mission
