David Radford-Wilson MBE Joins Rescue Global

Rescue Global is happy to announce that Colonel David Radford-Wilson MBE is joining us to work on Commercial Operations and Special Projects. David, currently who serves as one of our non-executive directors, will lead on a number of contracts delivering valuable services to our clients.

Trained in engineering, programme management, management consulting and strategic leadership to name but a few of his skill sets, David has spent over 30 years developing and leading high performing teams around the world. He is a highly experienced leader and a long-serving senior military executive, having served as a Royal Engineers Officer (culminating in David being the Commanding Officer of 23 Parachute Engineer Regiment, as well as a highly successful operational UK Special Forces Officer, twice being awarded Queens Commendations for Valuable Service.

David was the senior UK Engineer Liaison Officer to the US Army overseeing all current and future interoperability and was later hand-picked to be Director of the Chief of Defence Staff’s Special Projects Liaison Staff within the Ministry of Defence, providing liaison, advice, coordination and military support (both overt and discreet) across all UK Government and Other Government Departments. He was made a Member of the British Empire (MBE) for his services to the United Kingdom.

His prolific career in both the private sector and the civil service has enabled him to develop and impressive record of delivering complex tasks in challenging conditions worldwide. Along with his passion for bringing out the best in people and organisations, we believe that David will support Rescue Global in our objective of commercial growth, through which we intend to develop our capability and capacity to respond to crisis and disasters where needed worldwide.

Outside of work, David is an adventurer, a Mount Everest mountaineer, an endurance runner and supporter of charitable causes. In 2016, he ran the Marathon Des Sables to raise money for wounded veterans.
